Successful candidates should correspond to the following required competencies / skills:
- 2+ years experience in Database design, implementation and maintenance of data warehouse solutions (preferably Oracle based).
- Experience in analyzing requirements to a data warehouse.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle, PL/SQL and database tools (preferably TOAD, RAPID SQL, DBArtisan).
- Good knowledge of ETL process and tools.
- Data modeling/CASE tools (preferably ER/Studio).
- BI tools (preferably BusinessObjects InfoView, Designer).
- Good oral and written English.
Responsibilities for this position will include (but are not limited to):
- Solution architecture.
- Analysis and design.
- Data modeling.
- Maintenance: implementation, testing and deployment of enhancements/change requests.
- Administration, performance tuning of existing data warehouse solutions.
- Troubleshooting assistance, operational support.
Any additional of the beneath mentioned skills/knowledge will be a plus:
- Experience in administration, performance tuning of deployed solutions.
- Experience in capacity management, warehouse partitioning.
- Banking knowledge.
- Knowledge of scripting tools (Perl, shell scripts), some programming skills (Java, CVS).
- Familiarity with Scrum.
- Experience in writing use cases.
