GIE (Generic Import Export)

The GIE is a software product that acts as a middleware for the Raboshop system. It allows exchange of business information between different clients through generic services. Supports many document specifications, message formats and communication transports. The GIE product was developed to fulfill need of Dutch bank Rabobank in light and powerful document exchange solution.

GIE includes:

• Clients management
• Document types management
• Document transformation and collection
• Document routing and delivery
• Document search

The GIE is based on Microsoft BizTalk Server - it allows keeping wide functionality on generic document processing and stays much easier in application maintenance. The clients of GIE system use any common interface to access and operate with the system. It can be any custom client for such transports as E-mail, FTP, MSMQ, MQSeries, etc.
