Globe$ supports Back, Mid and Front Office activities and In-house Banking. Globe$ is an open system, which makes the Globe$ environment much wider than the program itself.
Globe$ uses inputs from several sources:
- On-line systems (Reuters, Telerate)
- Electronic Banking
- Spreadsheets and other databases
- Payments/receipts, budgets.
The output of Globe$ can also be used beyond the boundaries of the Globe$ environment. Globe$ can communicate with the general ledger through an Accounting Link and with standard applications like spreadsheets, word processors and drawing/presentation programs for mail merging and graphical reporting purposes.
