The second regional open student programming contest OPEN-PROGRAMMING – 2011, supported by Infopulse, was held in the Volodymyr Dahl East Ukrainian National University. 23 teams from different higher educational institutions of Lugansk region and six pupils (as special participants) competed in the contest.

The teams had four hours to solve a set of common tasks using one of the programming languages: Pascal, C++ or Java. The Contest was held with the use of E-Judge, an information control system, which allowed some students to participate remotely.

According to the results of the Contest, prizes went to the teams of the East Ukrainian Volodymyr Dahl National University.

       The support of the Contest at Volodymyr Dahl East Ukrainian National University was provided as part of the long-term partnership with this higher educational institution. We have a reliable collaboration with the management of the IT-specialized departments, their students undertake internship in our company and the most talented are invited to join our team. In January, one more stage of our cooperation takes off. East Ukrainian National University Project Group, consisting of four undergraduates supervised by a faculty member, will be performing several tasks offered by Infopulse. In future, it will allow us to partially relieve our programmers’ workload, and also to have a closer look at the Project Group members as prospective employees of Lugansk Regional Branch Sergii Palieiev, Lugansk Regional Manager
